Each team member is carefully selected by Steve who seeks to engage professionals in each of the three disciplines yet ensuring the team merge into one, collective unit to deliver on uncompromising design and quality of workmanship.
Steve’s enthusiasm, passion and respect for design and commitment to construction ensures the team behind Urbane is continually striving for the most innovative disciplines whilst ensuring uncompromising quality of workmanship to deliver every one of our client’s their perfect home.

Meet our team...


Steve, a registered builder, is the driving designer force behind Urbane Projects. His expertise knowledge of cohesive design and building processes is a rarity in today’s building industry and, coupled with his creative vision, ensures every Urbane home has its own, unique footprint and personality. Steve’s enthusiasm for design and his sense of refined elegance is evident in every bespoke Urbane designed home crafted to his exacting standards.

Building on Nathan’s Diploma in Architectural Drafting is his passion for architecture, followed closely by his passion for cycling! With 25 years’ experience in the building industry, the last 13 years specialising in drawing and documenting custom homes, Nathan’s creative approach to space planning ensures the smooth design documentation of every Urbane home.
“We should always be looking to try new things and push the limits to produce exceptional homes."


Vinko has over 20 years’ experience in all facets of construction. He is responsible for preparing detailed costs plan estimates for every Urbane home and he negotiates prices and rates with our extensive network of subcontractors and suppliers. A devoted father and husband, Vinko’s love of good food, family and friends captures the very essence of home which transcends his thoughtful approach to every individual client’s home specification.

Kristina’s passion for matching colour palettes, materials and finishes utilises her skills and experience she has gained since completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Architecture. With a focus on high-end residential homes Kristina understands the importance of functionality to create a cohesive, innovative space which brings our client’s dreams to life. Kristina was recently able to be her own client – designing a nursery that was fun and interactive for her beautiful daughter.

Todd has quickly established himself as a key team member since joining Urbane in 2019. With over 15 years’ experience in estimating and project management, Todd skillfully administers all aspects of subcontract and supplier agreements to variations and progress claims for clients at Urbane.
Currently studying towards his Diploma of Building, Todd has a young family (including the beloved family dog) who enjoy their downtime sampling the varied wining and dining options our beautiful state of WA has to offer.

Peter’s focussed approach has seen the smooth transition of homes now under his supervision since recently joining the Urbane team. His willingness to undertake a variety of projects, coupled with his extensive background in the residential construction industry, makes him a great addition to the Urbane team. When not involved in the intricate details of plans and schedules, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and restoring classic cars and motorbikes.


Amassing over 12 years’ experience since graduating with a Diploma in Building Design and Construction, Noorudeen’s in depth knowledge of the overall building process coupled with his precise attention to detail ensures highly detailed construction plans. Noorudeen enjoys pushing the boundaries to bring together the creative design intent process with functionality and lifestyle requirements into a built form.

Cédric joined Urbane in 2019 and his qualifications in Mass Communication, Web Media and Marketing sees him create and publish content on our media platforms. His first major undertaking at Urbane saw the refresh of our website and he now produces the quarterly Urbane gazette. Cédric enjoys collecting old books and his work experiences from abroad greatly contributes to his creative flair in all things digital marketing.
"We all have our ideal home in mind. Sometimes surrealist, sometimes realist. Our work consists of blurring the line between the two; keeping most of the dream in the reality. Something between a Dali and a Courbet."


His dynamic approach to construction management and his ability to form great relationships with our team of sub-contractors and suppliers is evident to all who work with Michael on the projects he supervises. His depth of construction knowledge has seen him navigate the intricacies of the homes in his portfolio. In his spare time, Michael enjoys time with his young family whilst mastering his culinary skills.


With over 35 years’ experience in the building industry, Bryce brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Urbane as Contracts Administrator. Bryce’s background as a Quantity Surveyor ensures that all admin and paperwork is always carried out to the highest standard.
Bryce likes to spend his free time enjoying the outdoors and is at his happiest on the water or hiking the tracks in the Perth Hills.

Sim Ee joined the Urbane team in 2022 and provides varied administration support to the construction team. She has enjoyed the many facets to her role and in ensuring the team are supported as they focus on the client journey to home. In her downtime, Sim Ee enjoys catching up with friends at new cafes across Perth.


Giselle’s extensive admin background has her well equipped to assist Steve and the clients on their journey with Urbane Projects as well as overseeing office and reception administration. A keen baker, Giselle ensures the team are well-nourished with her array of sweet treats.

Since joining Urbane in 2014 Marco has played a pivotal role in completing over 21 bespoke Urbane homes. A registered builder, Marco brings a wealth of residential construction expertise to his role at Urbane – having worked as a bricklayer for 10 years before moving into scheduling and then into a supervisor’s role. Marco’s quiet, conscientious approach combined with his understanding of construction principles ensures your new home takes shape under his watchful eye. A family man at heart he understands the importance of home.

Joining Urbane in March 2023, Tom brings a depth of construction contractual knowledge, holding both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Architectural Science) from Curtin University. He also brings a wealth of practical work experience, possessing nearly 20 years in various construction project management roles.
Working closely with our site construction team and interior designers he is looking forward to creating and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Tom will ensure the smooth co-ordination of construction schedules in adherence with the client’s construction budget.
A family man with two grown-up kids, Tom enjoys his downtime watching all levels of soccer, with his son playing in the competitive Melbourne league.


With over 25 years of design experience, Roberto’s passion for designing bespoke Urbane homes stems from his studies in architectural drafting and his extensive experience in producing detailed documentation for high end, custom luxury homes. This sound foundation, coupled with his knowledge of construction, ensures his curiosity for design solutions creates resolved, attractive and functional architecture.

Reni is well known for his positive outlook and can-do attitude and is an integral part of the construction team since he started with Urbane in 2012. He brings a wealth of life experiences with him having joined the army after leaving school, transitioning into banking, sales, and then a stint in the hospitality industry before moving into the building industry 11 years ago. Reni’s enjoyment of the outdoors, love of power tools and ability to undertake any task ensures his skills are in high demand across our building sites.

Sam’s creative flair is evident from the stunning interiors she helps our clients to lovingly create with our full interior design service. Since graduating from Interior Design in 2005 Sam worked in hospitality design before transitioning to high end residential homes in 2011. A busy mum to two very active and adorable boys, Sam & her husband love enjoying delicious food and the odd glass of vino in their limited spare time. A Pinterest addict, Sam’s love of interior design and styling has seen her interiors featured in Inside Out, Home Beautiful and Adore magazines to mention a few.
“Bespoke design is an interpretation of a client’s personality and functional needs. Our job as designers is to investigate the personal story, develop and translate a beautifully curated vision.”


Tamara has been responsible for the accounting operations at Urbane Projects for 8 years. A certified BAS agent with over 16 years’ experience in accounts, Tamara ensures the maintenance of all fiscal records, and her role is integral to the financial wellbeing of Urbane Projects.
Tamara is also enjoying her other role as Mum to toddler Mila and ensures our compliance with her boxing prowess – having competed in Australia’s first ever sanctioned women’s bout in 2000 and now a judge for Boxing Australia.
